Exhibits depicting Romeo’s illustrious history will be on dislay in and around the village park. Throughout the day historical reenactors will demonstrate activities from various eras of Romeo’s history. Vintage Autos ranging from the early 1900’s to the 1980’s will also be on display.
More than 50 crafters and vendors will showcase their wares in the outdoor Shoppers Bazaar while local businesses and non-profits promote their organizations and fundraising activities.
Main Street from Newberry to Church Streets will play host to Kids’ Zone, an area of old-fashioned, family-friendly fun for kids of all ages. There are many activities planned for this area including arts & crafts, games, petting zoo, inflatables, various contests and more!
Festival-goers will be able to select from a wide variety of foods provided by The Food Trucks, enjoy an adult beverage from the beer & wine tent and watch performances on the main entertainment stage throughout the day until 6:00pm. We have some awesome entertainment planned including local favorite, country music singer-songwriter, Austin Scott with the Detroit Cowboy Association and our headliner act, the internationally renowned Rusty Wright Band, a smokin’ hot blues band from Flint, MI. Additional acts include The Two Talls (Bluegrass, Gypsy, Polish & Hungarian Folk Duo), TRUE (teen girl singers), The Gentlemen Songsters (men’s choir), Charlene Helen Berry (hammered dulcimer) and the High Steppers Dancers (senior dancers).
